We had a wonderful time at our Sip & Socialize event this past week. The Girls, Gays, and Theys came out to mix and mingle with others and left establishing great connections. One of our biggest goals in hosting these events is to encourage our attendees to build community. Being a part of a community and establishing friendships is one of the ways that we can alleviate loneliness in our lives. With each gathering, we encourage everyone to go beyond the surface-level conversation starters and dig deeper. At this event, we asked our guests to start each conversation with What brings you joy?

DJ Asphodèle kept us dancing with a mix of house music and afro beats while our friends at NEFT and GHIA provided us with delicious beverages.

A special thank you to BSpokeLA for allowing us to use their space for the event and thank you to everyone who came out and gathered! We are looking forward to our next event and can’t wait to see you there!
