Planning a Galentine’s Gathering? Here are My Favorite Spots in Los Angeles

Ahh, Valentine's Day, the day of love! In my early single years, I used to dread the holiday. I was amongst many that believed that you could only celebrate the day if you had a significant other. However, as I’ve gotten older, I realized that as commercial as this holiday is, it is the perfect opportunity to shower everyone I love in my life with love. So, I began organizing small Galentine’s dinners with my girlfriends, and the celebration of the holiday was no longer fully centered around romantic love but became a day that I celebrated platonic love too.

As I was organizing this year’s Galentine’s dinner, I thought that maybe there may be some Single Girl Club readers in LA that might want to do the same, but don’t know where to start. So I’ve comprised a nice list of some of my favorite spots I think are worthy of checking out. These spots check all three major boxes for me which are: Great ambiance, delicious food, and fabulous service.

For a Bougie Galentine’s Checkout

If you’re looking for a reason to get dressed up, these restaurants give you that reason! So make a reservation and get dolled up with the girls.

This spot is located in the heart of DTLA Arts District and is known for its coastal Italian dishes and freshly made pasta. I first checked out this spot for dinner before My Night at the Opera with friends. It has such an elegant vibe with a nice outside dining patio.

Another delicious Italian spot located in Hollywood. Their menu is filled with fresh ingredients and traditional Italian dishes that will leave you wanting more. The decor gives an old Hollywood glamour with rich crimson seating and dim lighting. It’s a total vibe! Check out my TikTok review here

I am obsessed with this spot! My girls and I dined here after the Single Girl Club relaunch photoshoot and boy did we have a wonderful experience. The food was delightful and the service was stellar. Check out my TikTok review here

For More of a Casual Galentine’s

My dear friend Julie told me that this was one of her favorite spots in LA, and I had to check it out because I trust her culinary judgment. It is another Italian spot, I can’t help it, but I promise you won’t be disappointed. Make sure to make those reservations ASAP because this spot is pretty popular.

P.S. I would highly recommend getting the Sage & Butter Tagliatelle and Tiramisu! Check out my Tiktok review here

      Bacari Silverlake

This restaurant has multiple locations, but I would suggest checking out the one in Silverlake because it has the best ambiance, in my opinion. They serve their dishes tapas style and they are packed with flavor and they’ve also got a great Watermelon Margarita.

This spot is chill and laid back but has a deliciously crafted menu. They also have a wonderful mocktail selection and their Hippo rolls and Hamachi Crudo was delightful. Check out my TikTok review here

For a Galentine’s Drink Try

Located in West Hollywood, this spot has a great happy hour that's only 1 hour! So make sure that you are there on time! Check out my Tiktok review here

I love this bar! It has such a warm and welcoming vibe, and it’s a great place to check out for a casual Galentine’s meet-up. They also have an adorable outside patio, and the drinks are delicious! They don’t take reservations, so keep that in mind if you plan on checking this place out. Check out my Tiktok review here

If you give any of these places a try, I'd love to hear what you think. And if you have any other suggestions let me know in the comments section. Remember, Valentine’s day is a day to celebrate love in all its forms and just because you aren’t in a romantic relationship that doesn’t mean that you aren’t loved by others. Make sure to carve time to celebrate the love you have for yourself and others this Valentine’s Day.
