Tell us About Yourself!
I am a Single Women Empowerment Coach, certified in Wellness and Holistic Health Coaching. I have a background in Science, B.Sc. After 5 years of my corporate career in biotechnology, I transitioned to full-time coaching and dancing. My mission is to empower other women to reconnect with their self-worth, rebuild their relationships with themselves and create the life that they deserve.
How long have you been single and what important lessons have you learned from your last relationship?
I have been single for the last 5 years. Before that, I had experienced a toxic love addiction that was controlling me for years. I realised how low my self-worth was, I was settling for the temporary emotions and comfort. I recognised the red flags and the warning intuitive signs I was ignoring. I also understood my own toxic patterns and why I acted the way I acted, which was a game-changer for me moving forward. My self-awareness expanded dramatically when I decided to walk away from that person, rebuild myself and start healing.
It’s been 2 years that I have decided to consciously embrace my single season with self-love, and self-exploration making the most of it. When I got into personal development over the pandemic, my mind opened up to new possibilities, new ideas and a new vision of what my real passions are and who I want to be. It occurred to me that singlehood is a perfect time for my personal expansion. I stopped chasing men. I realised that I can change the trajectory of my future and never be afraid of the past repeating itself. I think this is key for all the ladies to realise, that the work we do on ourselves determines the quality of our future. Especially over our single season when we have so much space, energy, peace and unbiased mind. Also, I realised that in my early twenties I was leading with masculine energy and didn’t allow any feminine sides of me to come out. This was clearly affecting my love life and the expression of my authentic self.
What do you think is a common misconception about being single and how are you changing the narrative?
The most common misconception about being single is that it means being lonely. Loneliness is a lack of connection to other humans and regardless of the relationship status, anyone can experience this. I have been very close with my friends and family and I think being around like-minded people who understand you and share the same values is key for all the singles out there. Another misconception is that there is something wrong with being single, single women feel rushed and behind in comparison to others. Being single doesn’t mean you are behind, in fact, people who stay in wrong relationships have more work to do than those who are single and already working on themselves to attract what they deserve in the future.
My own journey. After going through my own personal heartbreak, I decided to empower other women with self-awareness, mindset and feminine energy. My mission is to guide single women back to their worthy selves and intuitive hearts so they can raise their standards in their love life and create a life that they are in love with.
What are ways you combat loneliness in the season?
Staying connected with my friends and family. Prioritising travel and fun times with my best friends. Meeting new people and going on exploration trips by myself. My self-care routines, treatments and being there for myself.
I love dancing. Since I was little, I have always been a dancer. After my corporate job ended, I reconnected with my dancing passion again, it has been my soul essence, workout routine, the best therapy and the way I express myself. Pole and exotic dance have revolutionised the way I feel about my femininity. It has given me so many inspirations and ideas. I cannot live without it now.
What words of wisdom do you wish to share with other Single Women?
Committing to your self-exploration and healing journey will change your life. If you don’t know who you are, what you love and where are you going, subconsciously you don’t know what type of a partner you want to call into your life either. Focus on cultivating your self-love and falling in love with your life right now. Enjoy your life with your friends and family right now, take yourself on trips as well as keep your heart open and your standards high. This is how you attract people who treat you with the same level of respect, love and care. You will build a solid relationship with yourself that will become a foundation for any future relationship that you will have. On top of that, you will learn how to trust yourself and the inner intuitive voice that will guide you toward the right decisions. Embody more feminine energy and see how your life transforms.
